Call for Abstract

Abstract submissions for individual papers and posters for presentation at 2018 ICLEE 8th Conference are now being considered! This year’s conference will be held at the Chaoyang University of Technology in Taiwan. This location will also provide easy access to many major Taiwan National Parks and National Monuments. We encourage submissions that are relevant to the conference theme and those that focus on the development of Industry, Community, Landscape, Ecology and Engineering. All abstracts must be submitted by no later than Aug 31, 2018. We do not anticipate an extension beyond that date and strongly encourage you to submit your abstracts well before the deadline! Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously in the order they are received. To facilitate early registration and travel planning, we will make every effort to send decision notifications regarding acceptance of abstracts to authors within 3 to 4 weeks of submission.

Individual paper and poster abstracts can be submitted electronically by going to the 2018 ICLEE 8th Conference webpage. Please note: a login account is required before an abstract can be submitted; you must also be logged into your account to submit an abstract.

Guidelines for Abstracts:

Abstracts should be in paragraph form, without bullet points. Additionally, the abstract body should include details regarding the research background, purpose, methods, results, and conclusions. Please also indicate the theory/analytical framework for the work and provide a description of the research methods used.

**PLEASE NOTE**

Individuals are limited to serving as lead author on only one oral paper presentation; this does not include co-authorship. Individuals may serve as lead author on an oral paper presentation while also organizing a session, presenting a poster, or serving on a panel.

Please email Hui-Mei Chen (2018iclee@gmail.com)  if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

~ 2018 ICLEE 8th Conference Organizing Committee
